This is a pen and ink drawing that I did for a great blog and podcast Jonny’s Cult Films at http://jonnyscultfilms.blogspot.com a while ago when they covered several of the legend John Carpenter’s films. Did a sort of montage of Assault On Precinct 13, The Thing, Dark Star and Escape from New York (all of which I recommend if you haven’t already seen them), with a portrait of the man himself in the centre. Came out ok I think apart from the text which I admit I always find a bit tricky.
That is superb! I’d love to have that on my wall or printed on a t-shirt! The high-def version shows just how much work went into this. I wish I could draw half as good as this.
