Wow, these are really good. I have been reading your blogs recently. I come across it while I was looking up Dick Smiths info. I am getting ready to do his Basic 3D course too. Ibought it about 5 years ago, but didn’t understand it until I did a makeup course and learnt the basic lingo. You have inspired me to think about writing a blog about how its all going. I’ve never done one before though, so will be a challenge. I am looking forwards to seeing more of your work from the Advanced course. It is helpful hearing someone talking about things that didn’t go quite to plan (like the sweating). Dick writes that this shouldn’t be a problem for the amount of time our models will be wearing our appliances, but maybe he didn’t account for how slow us student are going to be when its our first time 🙂

Thanks for the kind words I’m really glad to hear there’s a fellow Dick Smith student out there!! You should definitely do your blog, I’d love to see what you’re doing. Be very helpful for me too. You can’t get enough information I’ve realised since I started 🙂 You’re totally right about the time it takes! So long! I’ve found it quite difficult to get people to be models actually. Even though they’re initially really excited and intrigued they don’t realise the actual time it takes to just sit there patiently 😀 No pressure eh? Haha just have to keep practising.
